Netpia: Next Generation Pioneer of Internet Address Services
For the last 10 years, Netpia has passionately pursued the never-ending improvements and developments of NLIA technologies and services. This also included developing user-friendly environments that are faster, more intuitive, easier to use and navigate.

Successful Establishment of the Korean Internet Address
With more than 300,000 paid registrations of NLIA and partnerships with around 50 ISPs, Netpia's NLIA service is the de facto standard in Korea. This standard has served to strengthen Internet use in Korea and narrowed the digital divide to almost zero, all the while providing an invaluable service to the Korean government's e-Government initiative. All 250 local government offices and agencies use key word address lookup, including such departments as the Federal Prosecutors Office.

NLIA Standardization Efforts
Engineering tests have proven the NLIA service reliable in 95 countries and Netpia is currently working to export and standardize the service in Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Japan, China, Afghanistan, Indonesia among others.
Since 1999, Netpia has initiated Natural Language Internet Address (in the US called NLIA) as a service at many international conferences such as APAN, WIPO, ICANN, IETF. In August 2003, Netpia provided NLIA services for 95 different countries at the Summer Universidade Daegu for the first time in history. That same year in December, the United Nations spotlighted Netpia's success story at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).
With the accomplishments of NLIA standardized in Korea, Netpia hopes to implement the same successes story in many countries around the world, in as many languages as necessary, and to lay the groundwork for the respect and prosperity of every language by globalizing NLIA services wherever needed. |
