e-Commerce

LGeshop
Internet Shopping Mall
Despite concerns about the high learning curve of the Internet for seniors, LGeshop introduced a senior-centric online shopping center.
Since the seniors had trouble typing and understanding the URL,
LG e-Shop used the NLIA, "lgeshop" (in Korean) so that
the seniors did not have to type any Latin characters at all,
resulting in highly satisfied vendors and consumers.

Online Directory Service

Joins.com Profile Directory

Profile Database Provided by Media Portal
In the past, people had to type in the name of the public figure in a search bar to find information regarding that person. With NLIA, however, the user could type in the name of the celebrity followed by the words "celebrity info (in Korean)" (e.g. "Britney Spears Celebrity Info") to retrieve a profile from Joins.com, a media portal managed by Joongang Ilbo Media, one of the largest media company in Korea.

SayClub
Internet Chatting & Community Site
SayClub is a Korean Internet portal, well-known for its online communities and chatting. A new conceptual online soap opera called MyRoomMyRoom takes the audience into the virtual world of user-generated contents. Since the Web site was heavily geared toward attracting the youth culture, it had to do something radical. NLIA became their answer and since its introduction they have experienced dramatic increase in traffic.
